Kayaking and fishing lake in Jackson NJ

Today I going to be talking about a small lake that provides fishing and kayaking opportunities to all that visit.Some of the fish species that are in the lake are largemouth bass,chain pickerel,channel catfish,black crappie,brook trout,sunfish,brown bullhead and yellow perch. Prospertown lake is a man-made lake and wildlife management are located on County Route 537 in the Prospertown section of Jackson Township,near Six Flags Great Adventure.It is ideal an ideal lake for recreational kayakers and features a number of inlets and coves to explore.You can also see some of the rides from the lake at Six Flags Great Adventure.The lake is stocked with fish every year and some times you may even see a bald eagle or two flying across the lake.It is a scenic lake with wildlife abound and a great spot for nature photographers. If you enjoy kayaking you’ll want to stop by as it has plenty of parking space and a small boat launch area.I’ve attached a few photos of the area just to give you an idea of the scenery of this place.
